A Letter of Gratitude to Our Supporters

As the Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence closes its doors, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to every individual, foundation, business, organization, educator, volunteer, and community member who believed in our dream. 

BASSE began with a simple but powerful idea: students are leaders, thinkers, creators, and changemakers—and when we trust their voices and connect education with community, learning can be transformational. 

You believed in that vision. 

Your generosity, partnership, and encouragement made this school possible. Because of you, our students experienced a community where they were known, supported, challenged, and inspired to lead. 

Although this chapter has ended sooner than any of us hoped, we do not measure success solely by the length of an institution’s existence. We measure it by the lives it touched, the relationships it built, and the hope it inspired. 

That impact cannot be closed. 

It lives on in every BASSE student who discovered their voice, formed meaningful relationships, and learned to dream boldly about their future. It lives on in the families, educators, and community members who came together around the belief that education can—and should—transform lives. 

On behalf of our Board of Directors, faculty, staff, students, and families, thank you for believing in this vision and for walking alongside us. 

Thank you for helping us plant a seed whose influence will continue to grow through the lives of our students and throughout our community.
